This bright, fun new playground replaced an old donated playground that the District received from Burger King some 20 years ago. Inspiration for the replacement and design of the new playground came directly from children ages 3-12 living in and around the surrounding neighborhood. Those children even picked the colors and were there for the official grand opening. Some of the most popular features of this playground are the Maypole which propels the kids round and round and the climbing features like the Gravity Cube, Crossway Climber DNA Climber and Rock Wall. The Typhoon Slide gives kids a wild ride down the fun playstructure. This neighborhood is so happy with this bright new playground!
